The Women's Story...

Women often describe feeling unheard, stressed or unsatisfied in several areas of their lives. It is essential to look at the ways that we may be stuck and clear the path to a more fulfilled and satisfied reality.

As women, we wear many hats throughout our lives, are givers by nature and often put ourselves last as a part of an old story. In my own life and from working with hundreds of women in my professional career, I have learned that we as women have an untapped source of power that can be accessed and nurtured.

People Who Know Me

Joan understands firsthand what it means to rise out of the ashes of a personal tragedy and make life meaningful again. Her raw courage and wise counsel make her an outstanding coach for anyone going through a difficult life-crisis.
— Dr. Ken Druck, Counselor, Author
How can I put into words what Joan did for me over the seven years I was her client? It’s not an exaggeration to say she helped save my life! The grief and pain I carried around for over 20 years caused me to eat my way to over 300 pounds. I firmly believe without her help, I would have been facing an early grave. Joan helped me find the way to leave the past where it belongs. Now 180 pounds lighter and with not only a Bachelor’s degree, but a Master’s as well, I am living the life I was meant to live. Joan is one of the most caring and compassionate people I know. It’s an honor to know her and to say she was my therapist.
— LG, former patient
I was blessed to find Joan following the death of my mother who I had been caring for through a lengthy illness. Although I thought I was prepared for the inevitable loss, I found myself immobilized when she passed. Joan’s compassion and attention to my pain helped to ease me into my new life.
— Sarah, Former Patient
